Josephine Burr is an artist living and working in Boston, MA.   She has exhibited and lectured nationally, and has been an artist-in-residence at Myndlistaskólinn í Reykjavík (Reykjavik School of Visual Art, Iceland), Greenwich House Pottery (NY), Haystack School of Crafts (ME), Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts (ME), and Babson College (MA).  She received her MFA from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a BA in Global Studies at Earlham College.  In addition to her studio work, Burr has maintained a career in nonprofit program development, most recently as Executive Director of Roslindale Village Main Street, a community-based urban renewal project in Boston.   Currently she collaborates with her husband, Andrew Innes, on managing their family game publishing business, Anomia Press, and raising their two children.
